Our handcrafted lotion bars are a nontoxic and hydrating alternative to water-based liquid lotion. We worked to test and develop an original recipe that would be as nourishing to your skin (in particular your hands) as possible without leaving it greasy. While preferences and skin types do vary, this product has many happy return customers!

Our bars are scented using properly-diluted essential oils. For those used to commercial lotion, these fragrances may seem very subtle. The unscented will smell chocolatey due to the cacao butter, which is a little more masked in the scented bars.

To use, rub between your hands like a bar of soap; the butters will melt into your skin as it warms them. We recommend allowing one to two minutes for ideal absorption before touching clothing that may show grease. Each bar comes with a tin for convenient storage. Please note that the specific design of the bars and the tin colors vary.

No more chapped hands

I used Abigail’s Sweet Orange lotion bar all winter long (I live in the Midwest) and it was the first winter I did not have cracked, bleeding knuckles from the dry weather. After using this lotion bar I don’t want to ever use another lotion.

Soothing yet substantial

I love the lotion bars for their subtle natural (EO) scents and safe ingredients. It's also nice to have a hand cream that moisturizes for longer than the usual lotions. And they're beautiful, too, so make a nice gift!

This lotion bar is long lasting and smells great. It’s my favorite to use at night on my hands and feet.

Why use anything else

Now that I’ve used this there is no going back. This is the best lotion bar I have found and it beats regular lotion any day. In this dry winter weather nothing is as effective. Additionally, I’m extremely susceptible to athletes foot and this does wonders to keep that at bay.

Smooth Silky Skin

I love using this lotion bar because it leaves my skin feeling so silky smooth, without any stickiness! And it lasts so much longer on my skin! I love that it has all natural ingredients. The fragrance is subtle and not overpowering. My favorite is Sweet Orange.
